In this episode, I'm taking you behind the scenes of what I'm working on for the rest of the year, what's coming that I'm REALLY excited about, and what I want YOU to be thinking about in your own life as we head into the final stretch of 2026. We're talking about the moves you can make NOW that support your health while also helping you build more trust with food and your body. Episode Highlights -The things I'm working on behind-the-scenes that are coming your way in quarter 4 of this year. I cannot freaking wait!! -What I'm personally focusing on for my own health in this last stretch of 2026. -How YOU can meaningfully get healthier (without dieting) before the clock strikes midnight on December 31. -How to choose just 2–3 areas to focus on so you can create changes that actually stick. What does it actually mean to have a healthy relationship with food and your body? Is it eating nutritious foods most of the time? Never overeating? Loving your body? Not caring about your weight? And how do you know when your attempts to be "healthy" are actually starting to work against you? In this episode, I'm joined by Donna Friedman, a licensed professional counselor and eating disorder specialist who brings a unique perspective through her clinical expertise, her own lived experience with an eating disorder, and her experience as a parent. We talk about what a genuinely healthy relationship with food and body looks like, where the line falls between dieting, disordered eating, and an eating disorder, and some of the behaviors around food, weight, and exercise that our culture considers completely "normal" but may actually be cause for concern. Donna also shares why letting go of intentional weight loss can feel so threatening, what people misunderstand about body image, why changing your body doesn't necessarily change how you feel about it, and the less obvious signs that your pursuit of health may be costing you more than you realize. If you've ever wondered, "Okay, but what am I actually trying to get TO with intuitive eating and body image work?" this conversation will help you see what a healthier, more peaceful relationship with food and your body can actually look like in real life. Episode Highlights: -What a genuinely healthy relationship with food and your body actually looks like and how to know what you're working toward beyond simply "not dieting." -Where the line falls between dieting, disordered eating, and an eating disorder, including behaviors our culture praises as "healthy" that may actually be concerning. -Why changing your body doesn't necessarily improve body image, and why letting go of intentional weight loss can feel so threatening even when you know dieting isn't working. We live in a world that is completely obsessed with weight loss, thinness, health and wellness…but we've completely lost the plot. From the glorification of extreme thinness that we are seeing everywhere right now, to the repeated message we've received that weight loss is good and weight gain is bad - it's so hard to embrace and accept our bodies as they are meant to be. And on the back end of all of this we are seeing a crisis: eating disorders. People are literally dying in their pursuit of thinness. Others are suffering from years or decades of a battle with an eating disorder that tells them they're never good enough. My guest today, Morgan DiPrimo, is on a mission to change this. A filmmaker, speaker, and eating disorder advocate, Morgan has conducted more than 400 interviews across six continents with leading clinicians, researchers, policymakers, educators, nonprofit leaders, families, and individuals with lived experience. Her work explores the intersection of mental health, media, technology, healthcare, and culture, with a focus on identifying systemic gaps and creating solutions. Morgan is currently producing Mind Over Mirror, a feature-length documentary examining the growing eating disorder crisis, the impact of social media and emerging technologies, treatment barriers, physician education gaps, and the future of prevention. Through the documentary and a planned national summit, she aims to bring together leaders from medicine, research, policy, education, media, and lived experience to drive meaningful change. Whether you personally have an eating disorder or not, this is an incredibly important conversation that you NEED to tune into (and share with others). Episode Highlights: -What Morgan learned from interviewing over 400 experts and people with lived experience regarding eating disorders and our relationship with food and our bodies. -How social media impacts our perception of our bodies and influences our behaviors. -Wellness that seem helpful on the surface, but are actually dangerous. Your intuitive eating journey is going to be a LOT harder if you're constantly battling the urge and temptation to go back on another diet. And look, I get it…healing your relationship with food is HARD and diet culture can be so convincing. In this episode, I'm breaking down the 4 steps that I use every single week with my clients to help them move past wanting to go back to dieting - so that they can keep their momentum moving forward towards becoming an intuitive eater. I'll be breaking down a case study of a client who went from bingeing multiple times every week for decades of her life…to not being able to remember the last time she binged because it had been so long - and how she got there. Episode Highlights -The 4 steps that my clients take that allows them to walk past the bathroom scale without feeling the desire to get on it "just to check" after they eat out at a restaurant the night before. -Specific examples and ideas for what YOU can do immediately to apply each of these 4 core steps we're discussing. -How to get out of the "messy middle" and "no man's land" in between dieting vs intuitive eating where you feel like you're not successfully doing anything well with food or your health. Have you ever wondered why certain foods have SO much power over you? You tell yourself you shouldn't eat the cookies...and suddenly you can't stop thinking about them. You eat something you consider "unhealthy" and spend the rest of the day feeling guilty. You make the "healthy" choice and feel proud of yourself for being good. Here's the problem: the more moral meaning you assign to food, the more power it has over you. In this episode, we're talking about FOOD NEUTRALITY and why letting go of "good" and "bad" food labels is about so much more than changing your vocabulary - it's about rewiring your brain to think, feel and behave differently with food. This is one of the most essential and non-negotiable concepts that I teach. Buckle up, and let's go!!! Episode Highlights -Why trying to control certain foods can actually make you feel MORE out of control around them -The judgments you're still attaching to your food choices that are sabotaging your intuitive eating journey -Why food neutrality does NOT mean pretending all foods are nutritionally identical -How to care about nutrition without using guilt, fear or morality to guide your choices -What it actually looks like when food starts to lose its power over you Today's Wellness Woo is the women's fitness industry. Brace yourself for some brutal honesty in this episode. After working with over 1,000 women to help them ditch dieting, recover from disordered eating and make peace with food through intuitive eating - I've noticed that those who succeed think differently than those who either continue to struggle or who give up. Today, I'm breaking down the 7 ways that people who are the most successful with becoming intuitive eaters think differently and approach the process differently. Trust me, it's different from "just listen to your body" or gaslighting yourself into body positivity. This is about the actual ways that you are wiring your brain to relate to food and your body differently - SO THAT intuitive eating can fully work for you and allow you to become happier, healthier and comfortable in your body. Episode Highlights -The key thought patterns that need to change if you want intuitive eating to fully work for you. -Why most people either skip or don't know how to do the body image work…and how this holds them back from making peace with food. -The characteristics of someone who has become an intuitive eater (and how to tell if you're there yet or not!) If you've ever worried that intuitive eating and blood sugar health can't coexist... this episode is going to be a huge relief. So many women feel like the moment they're told they have prediabetes, diabetes, insulin resistance, or blood sugar concerns, they have to choose between trusting their bodies and going back on a restrictive diet. It doesn't have to be that way!! In this episode, I'm joined by registered dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) Kristie Messerli to unpack what actually matters for blood sugar, what diet culture gets wrong, and how you can support your health without cutting out carbs or living in fear that everything you eat is spiking your blood sugar. In this episode, you'll learn: - The biggest myths about blood sugar - Whether you really need to fear carbs (spoiler: NO!) - What to focus on instead of dieting if you want healthier blood sugar - How intuitive eating can support diabetes and prediabetes management - Practical, realistic habits that improve your health without making food consume your life Whether you've been diagnosed with prediabetes or diabetes, have a family history of blood sugar concerns, or simply want to feel more confident that intuitive eating and health can go hand in hand, this episode will leave you feeling informed, empowered, and hopeful. Because taking care of your health should never require hating yourself or living in fear of food in the process.
