That is the question. Do it for the plot? Or do it for the goal? In this very analytical episode, I share some of my insights that I've learned through the crash out and signs I would see that were leading me to crash out. You don't always have to! Sometimes it's okay to pull over.Music: A Journey Through The Universe by Lesion X | https://soundcloud.com/lesionxbeatsAmbien background music by Amurich on Pixabay
"You will not tell me that you accept me. You will not tell me that you tolerate me. That is not your power. I take that from you." - Dominique JacksonI am enough and have always been, so how did I ever look in the mirror and say some of the most hurtful things? Those were the words of people that didn't know how to love themselves and I internalized that. Not anymore. We get to show up louder and more authentically than ever. I choose to love me and I choose to let go of those that can't.Music: A Journey Through The Universe by Lesion X | https://soundcloud.com/lesionxbeatsAmbien background music by Amurich on Pixabay
Life's a beach, for real. We build sandcastles, then get mad when the waves inevitably wash them away. It's okay! There's so much more sand and sometimes it's cool to swim with the waves. In this episode I invite you to the beach in Chuquiapan where I grew up, and share one of my favorite memories that reminded my of spirit's support. TW: abuse & violence I just got off the phone with my grandma and the first thing I thought about was: let me sit with this moment... and then I was like, "I have something to talk about on my pod!!!". So here we are. In this episode I talk about how I was able to release attachments that I held onto for almost two decades. Doing the work doesn't mean that everything magically gets better and all the "bad" feelings simply go away. No, doing the work means we have the knowledge and the skills to hold space for said feelings, and to relieve our minds and bodies from having to feel them over and over again. To let go of the need to recreate scenarios in our heads or experiences outside of ourselves to perpetuate those feelings and hold ourselves back from freeing them!
