Welcome to Season1:Episode6 of the WOMB.S PODCAST- ALL CAPS, BOLD, HIGHLIGHTED, UNDERLINED & ITALICIZED...Charge Strong & Unapologetically Into Your PurposeDISCLAIMER: *The information, viewpoints, wisdoms and suggestions offered on this podcast and those of any guests are provided strictly for informational purposes only. They should not be misconstrued as licensed, professional consultation in any way. If YOU need, or believe a Queen that you know needs professional consultation and/or assistance dealing with mental challenges or other struggles, please seek licensed, professional help. If you are unsure where to find assistance, we provide resources on our website at www.ifightmagazine.biz/resourcesQueen, everything in life isn’t fun, all the time. Joy is lost on so many things. Your purpose though, can never be lost because it hides within those things that soothes your soul that you love doing whether you are compensated by society’s standards or not. It is those things you do in life which are the things that are truly worth pursuing. Those things which inspire you to work hard and bust your tail 8 or more hours (AFTER, clock out of your 9-5). It’s those dreams and visions you sleep with each night and embrace with love every day, whether you get paid for them, or not. Behind all of these things, lies your purpose.Purpose gives direction and meaning to your life. It keeps you on course and out of trouble, most times. Although, it is sometimes the trouble in your life that helps you truly connect with your purpose. Your purpose encourages you to set those goals, persevere through challenges, and find fulfillment in what you do. Whether it’s personal growth, helping others, or pursuing deep rooted passions. A sense of purpose helps you navigate your experiences and motivates you to keep moving forward. Ultimately, it shapes the way you live and interact with the world and people around you.Having a sense of purpose provides you with guidance and real significance in life. It inspires you to set realistic goals and create obtainable objectives; to persist through obstacles and challenges, and discover satisfaction in all your actions in your life. Whether you focus on self-improvement, supporting others, or following your interests, purpose helps you understand your journey and drives you to continue striving ahead, even when you may feel you have already come to the end of your road. In the end, your purpose influences how you live and connect with those around you.You tap in, Queen! Intensify YOUR focus! Dig deep. Sift hard! Then sow (s-o-w) successfully!Always move strategically when deciding to CHARGE STRONG, BOLD AND UNAPOLOGETICALLY INTO YOUR particular PURPOSE! Think and ponder, a lot, plan and revisit your plans with “viciously ambition” and constantly move towards your dreams and your fears, simultaneously and courageously. Take little leaps or kick doors completely in. More than anything, trust your faith. Be confident in your skills, gifts and talents, and choose supportive communities to celebrate your losses and wins with because when you align with your purpose, you link up with people and opportunities that make you realize that your walking in your purpose will always be a portal for peace, productivity and prosperity. This is the 4TH episode of the WOMB.S PODCAST (Women Of Many Backgrounds. Surviving). This podcast is dedicated to women, surviving. Period! It’s a safe space where women birth stories, strength and sisters in solidarity. As you navigate your particular journey in life, make a committed effort at connecting with your courage, religiously. Celebrate your micro-wins along the way. As promised, I want to leave you with 7 Actionable Steps to Connect With Your Courage:1. Name your fears with precision – Fear becomes overwhelming when it’s blurry. Naming it clearly shrinks it and puts it into proper perspective. For example -· A woman’s fear of starting her own business might really be a fear that people won’t feel she’s qualified· A woman avoiding dating might suffer from a fear of abandonment2. Find the wisdom beneath your fears – Fear is often a bodyguard for something precious. Meaning -· Fear of public speaking might be protecting a desire to be respected· Fear of leaving a job might be protecting a need for stability· Fear of setting boundaries might be masking a longing for connection3. Choose micro-brave actions – Courage doesn’t always require a leap. Sometimes it’s just one tiny step needed.· Instead of quitting your job, update your resume or get help writing that business plan or hire a personal coach to help you meet your goals· Instead of revealing your whole vision or dream, share a teaser with a trusted friend or mentor or get that degree or certification you’ve been putting off4. Borrow courage from your past self – Your past holds the receipts of your strength.· Remember the moment you walked away from a toxic relationship· Think about the wins & victories you’ve already accomplished in life, no matter how small5. Anchor strongly into your “BIG WHY” – Purpose is the fuel that keeps courage burning. You might -· Speak up and stand up to your fears because you want your daughters and sons to see what SELF-ADVOCACY looks like· Starting therapy because you want to break generational curses6. Build a supportive environment – Courage grows in community, not constant isolation. This can be done by -· Sharing your intentions with a trusted friend or sister circle· Joining communities which feed you and allow you to feed others too7. Celebrate the acts, not the outcomes – Courage is the attempt, not the result. And lastly,· Every time you step outside your comfort zone, pat yourself on the back…being courageous is scary. Do it anyway!
Welcome to Season1:Episode3 of the WOMB.S PODCAST- PROTECTING YOUR MENTAL HEALTH & LEARNING EMOTIONAL RESILIENCY: “Your Unshakeable Soul” (10 Common Sense Tools To Help You Stand Tall Through Your Struggle)DISCLAIMER: *The information, viewpoints, wisdoms and suggestions offered on this podcast and those of any guests are provided strictly for informational purposes only. They should not be misconstrued as licensed, professional consultation in any way. If you need or believe a Queen that you know needs professional consultation and/or assistance dealing with mental challenges or struggles, please seek licensed, professional help. If you are unsure where to find assistance, we provide resources on our website at ifightmagazine.biz/resourcesCertain episodes in this podcast cover and discuss topics that could be sensitive to some listeners. These episodes will be appropriately labeled. Listener discretion is advised.Y: In today's episode, we explore tools for PROTECTING YOUR MENTAL HEALTH & LEARNING EMOTIONAL RESILIENCY. Our aim is to provide you with practical actions you can try in your life which will contribute to your healthy mental & emotional state of being.Z: 1. Practice "Cognitive Reframing"Resilience is heavily influenced by how you interpret events. When faced with a setback, consciously challenge irrational or catastrophic thinking. Instead of saying "I failed, or I can’t handle this" try reframing it as "This is a challenge I can learn from. I have navigated harder things in my life".Z: 2. Set and Protect BoundariesSaying "NO" to excessive commitments is a form of self-leadership that prevents emotional and physical burnout. Establish clear expectations in both your personal and professional life to ensure your workload and emotional labor remain sustainable.Z: 3. Leverage "Exercise Snacks" for MoodYou don't need intense workouts to benefit mentally. Just 15-30 minutes of daily moderate movement, such as walking or dancing releases endorphins that act as natural stress relievers.Y: 7. Cultivate a Gratitude RoutineShift your focus toward the positive aspects of your life by noting at least three specific things you are grateful for each and every day. Writing these down in a journal can help build a "protective buffer" against daily stressors.Y: 8. Recognize Your Physiological Stress SignalsPay attention to how your body communicates stress (tight muscles, headaches, or irritability). Early awareness allows you to take proactive steps—like taking a break or stretching—before you become overwhelmed.Y: 9. Pursue Hobbies and Creative OutletsDedicating time to activities that bring joy, such as painting, gardening, or reading, provides a necessary emotional outlet. These activities can recharge your "emotional tank" and provide a sense of fulfillment outside of daily responsibilities. And last, but definitely not least…Y: 10. Seek Professional Help EarlyAsking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. If you feel stuck or unable to perform basic daily activities, a licensed therapist can provide evidence-based strategies to help you rebuild your resilience. They can also help you recognize and prioritize any underlying or undiagnosed mental illnesses needing professional attention.'ufdfubed'
This is the second episode of the WOMB.S PODCAST (Women Of Many Backgrounds. Surviving). This podcast is dedicated to women, surviving. Period! It’s a space where women birth stories, strength and sisters in solidarity. Our crowns are tilted to: Mrs. Leslie E. owner of ArmstrongFoods2025, a vending machine business in Atlanta, Georgia. She is the very first Queen to subscribe to our BuyMeACoffee page!If anything shared during our moments together resonates with you, or perhaps you know another Queen whom it might, we encourage you to join our ever-growing community and share the vision with other like-minded, POSITIVE women. We want your WOMB.S WISDOMS®. Period! We want to know what YOUR personal inner and over-standings of life are…your divine goddess within knowledge (as in the Creatress intuition), that all women possess.Later in this episode we share head space with today’s guest: D. Thomas - Aveda Certified Full Specialist and multi-preneur. And also we will provide you with suggestions for developing strong support systems which encourage your growth and celebrate you. Women tend to encourage sisterhood and community by intentionally creating spaces where authenticity, empathy, and mutual support are at the forefront. This often begins with simple acts of reaching out to one another, regularly checking in, actively listening, and celebrating each other's milestones—whether personal or professional. We believe this podcast potentially has the ability to teach, touch and genuinely change lives, with the help and concerted efforts of many women (whether we are alike or otherwise). In us listening to what you have to say, and allowing you a space to share your stories, talk about things bold, out loud and unapologetically (that women TRULY want to talk about), we can inspire women to step outside of comfort zones and perhaps step away from things, people, circumstances and situations that do not serve their best interests. Belonging to a supportive community of forward-thinking, strong, high-vibrational women is a powerful factor in building emotional and mental resiliency. When facing life’s struggles, the encouragement and solidarity of true sisters helps women persevere and transform personal adversity into strength. The collective energy of women united drives change not only within your own life but also in your communities. Here on the WOMB.S PODCAST, we are committed to sharing stories of women coming together to create and grow. Collective energy is Unstoppable. Collective energy is Unshakeable. Collective energy isUnmistakable… especially when it possesses the feminine divine! As you continue on your journey, remember you do not have to brave this world alone, Queen. Even the strongest and most successful women need to feel safe. Need to feel heard. Need to feel and to be healed. Do you have high-vibrational women in your life? If you do, you are blessed. If you don’t become intentional about who you share time and head space with. Good vibes are contagious! To listen to our episodes, join our mailing list, subscribe to our feeds and be privy to invaluable resources and exciting events, visit with us often at ifightmagazine.biz/wombspodcast.
