What if you could design your life EXACTLY how you would want it to be? What would you need to do to be able to do that? I think the first step is spending time in that future, the future you desire. And the best way I know to do that is through the power of visualization. In this episode we discuss the power of an amazing gift we all have: our imagination! WIth it we can visualize the life we want. It's the first step in designing the exact life you want to live. After listening, let me know your thoughts about this topic of visualization and how it's changed the way you approach going after your goals and dreams. Adulting is hard. This is a phrase I keep hearing from young adults. I actually don't think it's that adulting is hard. I think it's more likely that us parents have been making life so easy and comfortable for our kids, whether by providing all the conveniences that we can afford OR even by our lack of preparing them adequately for the things that await them in adulthood. In this episode we discuss four ways you can help your teen or young adult have a more successful transition to adulthood. It won't be easy, but it will be worth it! After listening, let me know what thoughts come to mind and how you plan to implement some of these ideas in parenting your teen or young adult. You may or may not know my story, in particular, the part about my having had over 30+ jobs in my career. But during the course of my multi-faceted career, I've also sat on the opposite side of many young candidates looking for work. And as a hiring manager, I sadly found that there's so much that people unknowingly do or don't do, that almost automatically puts them out of the running. I started thinking about this and figured I should do something to help them in some way. So, to that end, I'm creating a new membership to help job-seekers and career climbers to get HIRED! If you, or someone you know, is looking for a job or want more meaning in their work, please take advantage of becoming a Founding Member in the Work On Purpose Membership!
