God does not wait with arms crossed for wandering people to find their way back. He pursues them, and He calls His people to do the same. Like the shepherd in Matthew 18 who leaves the ninety-nine to find the one, God's heart is always oriented toward restoration. Wandering is rarely intentional. It happens slowly, one small step at a time. But no matter how far someone has drifted, their value to God never changes. Grace does not merely match the size of our sin. It exceeds it. And because of that, no one is ever too far gone to be brought home.
