July 29 | Pick Your One Word for the School Year | Carpooling with Jesus Devotional for Kids

Hey Carpool Crew,   A whole new year is almost here, and that can feel huge to a kid. Be better, try harder, do everything right. It's too much to aim at all at once, and most of it slips away by the second week. Today on Carpooling with Jesus, Pastor Justin opens Philippians 3:14, where Paul aimed at one goal and kept pressing toward it. Your kid doesn't have to fix everything this year. They just need one good word to aim at, picked with God, like brave, kind, honest, or steady. One word is something a kid can remember on the hardest day.   This Wednesday episode hands kids three things to try this week: ask God for one word and write it where you'll see it, whisper a quick prayer each morning to aim at it, and ask the heart question, am I trying to fix everything at once, or will I trust God with one good word at a time?
