The Miami Hurricanes beat FAMU 77-7 - The Recap

Cam and The Beast bring you all of the storylines that came out of Miami's 77-7 win against FAMU at Hard Rock Stadium on Thursday night. Yes, Darian Mensah, Malachi Toney, and Mark Fletcher had their moments, but so many new faces got playing time and made an impact! We saw Mallory with two touchdowns, and Vance Spafford and Somourian Wingo got into the end zone. Luke Nickel had a perfect passing night. We even got to see the next-gen QB Dereon Coleman, who played pretty well! It wasn't all perfect, though. There were a few miscues, including a jump-offside, a fumble, and a missed block. There's always something to correct. We discussed whether Luke Nickel is going to be the starter at QB next season. It's an interesting debate. The other topic we dove into was whether Miami should be playing FAMU at all. Miami is getting singled out for playing an HBCU, but other schools are doing it (See Indiana v. Howard).
