The Miami Hurricanes are back with Nike! 2027 ACC Schedule Out - Wake Forest Preview - Ep 154
This was a fun show to do. The guys react to the huge announcement that the Miami Hurricanes are flipping back to Nike after 12 years with Adidas. It's a ton of money (over $200 million), and a huge deal made without an Athletic Director in place. It's a big deal for the university and the fans. The ACC managed to release the 2027 conference opponents under the dark of night. The Beast brings it up and Cam was surprised. It's ok, the Miami schedule is interesting. The home schedule doesn't seem that enticing, but that's an issue for another day. In segment two, we breakdown Miami's game against a decent Wake Forest team. Miami is missing three DBs. Is that a concern? Miami's staff thinks it is an opportunity. Wake QB Gio Lopez is a dynamic dual-threat QB. They have some players on both sides of the ball, but we think Miami will be up to the task. Miami is in the heads of Notre Dame fans. That's all that needs to be said. The Miami Hurricanes beat FAMU 77-7 - The Recap
Cam and The Beast bring you all of the storylines that came out of Miami's 77-7 win against FAMU at Hard Rock Stadium on Thursday night. Yes, Darian Mensah, Malachi Toney, and Mark Fletcher had their moments, but so many new faces got playing time and made an impact! We saw Mallory with two touchdowns, and Vance Spafford and Somourian Wingo got into the end zone. Luke Nickel had a perfect passing night. We even got to see the next-gen QB Dereon Coleman, who played pretty well! It wasn't all perfect, though. There were a few miscues, including a jump-offside, a fumble, and a missed block. There's always something to correct. We discussed whether Luke Nickel is going to be the starter at QB next season. It's an interesting debate. The other topic we dove into was whether Miami should be playing FAMU at all. Miami is getting singled out for playing an HBCU, but other schools are doing it (See Indiana v. Howard). The Miami Hurricanes face FAMU - Jordan Lyle News - Cornerback Void - Is Dabo Done? Episode - 153
Cam did the unthinkable and left The Beast to his own devices this week. It's ok, BTBL (Brian The Beast London) knows how to fly solo and brings you the preview you need for Miami and FAMU. We got word just before the show that Jordan Lyle may have his status change as legal news came in. The Beast tells you about that as well as tells you who you might see lining up at CB with OJ Frederique, Jr. out after a major, possibly season-ending, shoulder injury ended his night in Palo Alto. We also need to see more from the OLine by way of run blocking to Mr. Fletcher and company can have a better night on the ground. The Marching 100 will be in town and The Frost Band of the Hour has promised they have adopted some Marching 100 techniques to improve their performance. Cam and The Beast will be the judge of that from the press box on Thursday night. There is always a lot of college football news to talk about. From the SEC threatening to throw LSU out of the conference (was never going to happen ...hello $$$$$) to Dabo possibly being in his last season at Clemson. The Miami Hurricanes Beat the Stanford Cardinal 45-6 - The Recap
The Miami Hurricanes made the 2,500 mile journey from Miami to Palo Alto to face the Stanford Cardinal and they took care of business in the opening game of the 2026 campaign. Darian Mensah to Malachi Toney was a thing that was on display all night (until they got some rest late in the game). Malachi set the single-game receiving record, breaking Eddie Brown's record from 1984. Darian Mensah had 400 yards passing and looked almost perfect in his debut in the Orange and Green. The offense was making big play after big play, but the run game left a bit to be desired. We get into the performance of the offensive line. Will there be changes going into the FAMU game upfront? How did Jackson Cantwell do in his first college game? The defense was a mixed bag. They kept Stanford out of the end zone, but The Beast and Cam bring you some advanced analytics to show there needs to be some improvement. Yes we nitpick, but the bottom line is, Miami got the job done in convincing fashion against a Power 4 school. Now on to FAMU, and the Marching 100!
