In this episode, we’re praying for the woman who has been carrying too much for too long. The woman who is tired, discouraged by delay, overwhelmed financially, trying to get back into alignment with God, and believing Him for a new thing. Sometimes life can leave you exhausted mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically… but even there, God still meets us. This episode is a reminder that delay does not mean denial, exhaustion is not your permanent portion, and God is still able to renew, restore, provide, and redirect you. Girlfriend, if you’ve been feeling heavy lately, this prayer is for you. xoxo, Jess
What have you been carrying that God never asked you to hold onto? In this episode of the Jessica Jená Podcast, we’re talking about the weight of worry, disappointment, fear, offense, pressure, and control…and how so many of us are exhausted because we’ve been carrying things that belong at God’s feet. Sometimes we pray, but still carry the burden. We cry, but still hold onto the pain. We ask God for peace while refusing to release what’s been heavy on our hearts. But the Bible tells us to cast our cares on Him because He cares for us. This episode is a reminder that you were never meant to carry everything alone. It’s time to stop holding what’s breaking you down and start trusting God enough to release it. So, what have you been carrying that you should’ve been casting? Don't forget to subscribe to the show, leave a rating, and review!
You may not understand what God is doing now.....keep going anyway! xoxo, Jess
What do you do in the waiting season? In this episode, I’m sitting in tension with you. The in-between time, the not yet time, the “God, I know You said it… But I don’t see it yet.” Inspired by Isaiah 40:31 and Psalms 27:14, we’re talking about what it really means to wait on the Lord… not passively, but with expectation, posture, and trust. Because waiting isn’t punishment, it’s preparation. While you wait, God is strengthening you. While you wait, He’s refining your heart. While you wait, He’s aligning things you can’t even see yet. “Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart…” and that’s the part we don’t talk about enough. The strengthening happens in the wait. So if you’ve been feeling weary, discouraged, or questioning if it’s ever going to happen for you… this episode is your reminder: don’t rush the process. There is purpose in your pause. xoxo, Jess
What if the very thing you prefer is the thing holding you back? In this episode, we’re having a real conversation about how our preferenceslwhat we like, what feels comfortable, what we’re used to, can sometimes get in the way of what God is trying to do in our lives. Because let’s be honest… we love control. We love what makes sense to us. We love what feels good. But what happens when God’s plan doesn’t match our preference? I’m sharing how choosing comfort over obedience can delay growth, keep you in cycles, and even cause you to miss what God has already prepared for you. This is your reminder that purpose will require stretching, surrender, and sometimes saying no to what you want so you can receive what you need. So ask yourself:Are you choosing what’s familiar… or what’s faithful?
In this episode, we’re getting real about distractions. What they look like, how they show up, and how they can quietly pull us away from who God is calling us to be. I’m talking about choosing not to settle… especially when it comes to relationships. Waiting on a man of God is not always easy, but it’s necessary when you know your worth and your assignment. This is your reminder that loneliness is not a reason to lower your standards. As we step into a new quarter, I also want you to ask yourself: What version of me am I feeding? Is it the old habits, old mindset, and old cycles… or the woman God is calling you to become? We’re diving into: Knowing the season you’re in Showing up for yourself in every area of your life Asking God to reveal what’s been distracting you And having the discipline to starve those distractions on purpose This episode is for the woman who knows she’s meant for more but is ready to do the work to align with it. Take a moment after listening and sit with God. Ask Him to reveal what needs to go and trust Him enough to let it go. xoxo, Jess
Have you ever had that quiet knowing in your spirit that your life is supposed to look different? Like you're doing well and checking the boxes, but something inside you keeps whispering that there’s more? In this episode, I share how a blog post I recently read deeply inspired me and stirred something in my spirit about purpose, identity, and trusting the process of becoming who God has called you to be. I reflect on the journey of feeling out of place, the frustration of ambition without clarity, and why sometimes the biggest shift we need isn’t a new opportunity, it’s a new identity. If you’ve ever felt like you’re living in the in-between season, this episode is for you. xoxo, Jess https://diaryofahighachiever.substack.com/p/to-the-woman-who-always-knew-she?r=2kmu3d&utm_medium=ios&triedRedirect=true
Purchase your devotinal here: https://payhip.com/b/o2t1l There’s a season many of us don’t talk about, the season where you’re still believing God, but quietly wondering if He has something more for you… or if you should be further along by now. In this episode of the Jessica Jená Podcast, we’re talking about that in-between space: when the promise feels quiet, comparison starts to creep in, and waiting begins to test your faith. I’m sharing encouragement for the woman who’s still showing up, still praying, but wrestling with doubt, delay, and unanswered questions. This episode is for the woman who needs to be reminded that silence isn’t absence, waiting isn’t wasted, and God hasn’t changed His mind about her life. If you’re learning how to trust God again, steward your season well, and believe Him for more....even when you can’t see it yet, this conversation is for you.
