Episode Description from the Publisher

my favorite episode i have recorded to date - so you know that is good stuff.I sat down with Rich Larochelle of the Rappahannock Education Farm to discuss how one farm is trying to close the gap on food scarcity in their community. It's not a secret that certain communities and populations have a harder time accessing healthy foods, whether that be lack of funding, access, availability, the means to prepare fresh foods, or lack of education.but it's also not a secret thathealth = wealth, that nutrition allows folks to heal, feel good, prevent illness, stay alert in school, have energy, show up in life. The Rappahannock Education Farm is on a mission in Fredericksburg to grow over 100,000lbs of fresh produce and close that food insecurity gap; to get in the hands of community members FOR FREE! And they are doing it.This episode highlights that when we are walking in our life's purpose, show up together in our unique gifts, work to support not just ourselves but others that anything can happen. Trust. Faith. So if you have something BIG on your heart - a desire to do something bigger than yourself, to leave an impact in your lifetime, support your community, it's possible for you. You have a gift. You are here for a reason.Highest gratitude to Rich, if you know him, you know how truly special of a human he is.Gratitude to the farm for all they provide.Gratitude to God for bringing us together as humans to support one another and walk each other homeTo Donate or Volunteer : https://www.rappahannockfarm.org/Enjoy!
