Madison Sinclair comes on to discuss her surprise lesbian wedding, her weirdo father, brother and other MAGA, multiple stalkers, peeping toms, and why she can never go to New Zealand. Madison gives some scary tips her mom learned using burner accounts, shares about the final Thanksgiving that made her cut off her family, how she caused Jelly Roll’s divorce, her wife’s therapist ex terrorizing her via Spoof card. If you’re a stalker don’t listen to this ep!
Jade is a community organizing socialite and trans affirming care nurse with both a f*ck ass ex AND f*ck ass father. We talk about ex’s hitting on your friends, discovering a secret spicy Twitter, and dating ex gay Mormons. Jade then tells the story of discovering her father’s affair, and the last conversation she ever had with her father. We discuss dating cis people, coming out to your parents, how we want to get big and strong to beat up our dads, unaliving ideation and validate the shit out of each other basically.
Michelle Murphy comes on to talk about the ex that made her swear off dating for 10 years and bonus story at the top about a workplace she had to go no contact with (she refused to sign the NDA and we love that for us). We discuss how her ex broke up with her over email, how spiritually bypassing white dudes get into meditation after breakups, I probably dish too much about my ex giving his mom my phone number to yell at me, and Michelle teaches us how to go from anxiously attached to avoidant.
Salma Zaky (Don’t Tell Comedy, Comics Unleashed) is one of my oldest friends in comedy and also she knew my stalker ex. We talk about her appearance on Netflix, money trauma and then discuss her lifelong battle with gay men, and the high school friend that started it all. Salma looks up their no contact high school friend on IG, and Hay opens the episode with an update on a new shared stalker with a friend.
Skyler Higley (Help Me Be Black podcast, Oscars, Conan!) is a DSP Podcast sibling and comes in to talk about going no contact with his adopted Mormon daddy. We talk about emotional incest, cheating fathers, reconnecting with bio family, being sealed to his family he’s no contact with in he Mormon Temple and therefore eternal heaven, building hammers, and adult abuse from their children being a real thing, and avenging ourselves.
Hannah Jones (Don’t Tell Comedy) is one of my oldest friends in comedy and comes on to roast my ass to death and talk about how her dad just never really fuct with her like that. We talk about daddy’s eating disorders, queers running coffee shops and thrift stores across America, how her last 5 flings have ended the exact same way, and Hay keeps putting their foot in their mouth and blames their 12th house in a really powerful way. This ep is so fun! Go see Hannah on tour!
Rachel Pegram (SNL) comes on to tell a story about getting cut off by a horse girl in middle school, and encourages Hay not to put so much of their current drama on the Patreon… yet. Hay unfortunately relates to Rachel’s middle school opp, Rachel shares the way ex’s will always find their way back to you via email, and we read an instantly legendary listener letter about a guy who loves Zyn.
Maxwell Esposito (Learn the Words B!tch) is a socialite and he’s Italian. He comes on to briefly mention cutting off his mom, stepmom, dad, but then really get into how he’s no contact with a lot of people he’s lived with. We talk about how he thoroughly knows the characters discussed in our previous ep with Danielle Perez (his show LTWB is a centerpiece of her story!) and what is means to be LA enough.
