Moonlight Over a Cage of Fangs

For tonight’s tale, we explore the second part of the Purloined Tale. So if you haven’t listened to Moonlight Over a Purloined Tale yet, please do so before you listen to this tale. If you do not, you run the risk of not really knowing what the hell is going on in this tale. And that, gentle listener, is a fate too horrific to be imagined. So go ahead and listen to that tale.             As for this tale, we find Tomisaburo staring into the gaping maw of a wolf that has sworn to kill him before he can take his seventh breath. Tomisaburo uses all of his wits and cunning to escape this wolf, who is driven mad with righteous indignation at Tomisaburo’s crimes. However, their conflict does not go unseen by the clan of the Ravens. Under the threat of that conflict becoming revealed to the other elevated folk, Tomisaburo learns a shocking new development regarding his true place in elevated society. Armed with this new knowledge, he must reevaluate his actual role in this charade. Moreover, he must decide how to play his part. Should he leave things be and survive, or face certain death to strike back at those who would presume to subdue him. Then again, he may decide to just start a new charade of his own.             This tale contains violence, occult themes, political subterfuge, mistrust in authority, and antisocial behavior. Although there are no humans in this tale yet, so that’s kind of a stretch. Furthermore, it contains depictions of animals in distress and profanity. Listener discretion is advised.
