This pod is about those moments when we don’t feel like ourselves—when the people we’re around, the environment we’re in, or everything happening in our heads influences how we show up. Instead of beating ourselves up for those moments, let's chat about why they can actually be opportunities to learn more about who we are.I talk about perfectionism, self-compassion, outside influence, boundaries, and the little ways we can start embodying more of the version of ourselves that feels authentic—even when we’re surrounded by other people. And if you’ve ever regretted a moment where you felt like you weren’t yourself, I hope this episode reminds you that you can learn from it without judging yourself for it. Sometimes getting a little lost is how we learn our way back to what feels true :)
When you get off track from your goals, it can be easy to convince yourself that you’ve failed. You miss a few days of your routine. Life gets busy. You get distracted, go on vacation, stay up late with friends, or simply stop doing the things you promised yourself you would do. Suddenly, you feel like you’ve lost all your progress and have to start over. But getting off track doesn’t mean you’ve failed.Sometimes life takes us on little side quests — and that’s okay. You’re allowed to live your life. You’re allowed to pause. You’re allowed to have days that don’t look like the vision you had for yourself. What matters is that you remember you can always come back.Getting off track is not the end of the journey. The path is still there. And whenever you’re ready, you can always hop back on.This is your reminder that you’re not a failure, you’re human — and you’re always allowed to hop back on the path to your desired reality.Share this episode with someone you love :))Book 1:1 Coaching & Mindfulness Sessions with me @ livemindfulandaware.comGrab the Mindful & Aware Workbook on Amazon!Join the Mindful & Aware community on Instagram @mindfulandawaremiaMindful & Aware is also on YouTube!!

You don't have to keep giving your life, energy, or authenticity to something just because you've already committed to it or because someone else thinks it's right for you.I’m talking about what happens when we spend too much of our time, energy, and attention trying to make other people happy or live up to someone else’s idea of a “good life.” I talk about authenticity, relationships, careers, people-pleasing, and learning to choose what actually feels aligned with who you are.You deserve to be in relationships and environments where you feel seen, appreciated, and encouraged to be yourself. And sometimes choosing yourself means stepping away from what’s familiar, disappointing other people, or walking into something unknown. Your life is yours to live—and you get to decide where your energy goes.ENJOY!!! & SHARE THIS MESSAGE WITH SOMEONE YOU LOVE <31:1 Self-Alignment Coaching, Yoga, Workshops, Events, & FREE Resources at livemindfulandaware.com
For the ones on a healing or self-growth journeySometimes, we become so attached to the identity of the person we were when we were in that relationship, doing that career, or reaching that goal. So much so that we lose ourselves. We may find ourselves remaining in the identity of that past version of us because it is what's familiar. Therefore, it is what naturally feels safe to our brain & body.During this period of feeling lost, we may begin reaching out for external validation or external stimuli to find who we are. What if who you are is already within you? This is an episode about returning to the you who you were before the world told you to be someone different. This is about your true self behind the fear of rejection, the need for external validation or approval, & being seen. This is a chat for the parts of you that you had to hide in order to fit the mold of that relationship, career, or goal that was out of alignment from you.Listen to this when you are ready to come home to yourself, step out of the box of comfort, & live authentically to you rather than for others.1:1 Self-Alignment & Mindfulness Coaching @ livemindfulandaware.comConnect with me on Instagram @mindfulandawarecoach

you deserve to live a life that you love.you deserve to walk away from what does not feel aligned.you deserve to plant seeds of your dream life, care for them, grow them, & watch them evolve. This pod episode is all about change. AHHHH I'M SCARED!!!exactly LOLLet's talk about the fact that change is scary & staying unsatisfied & out of alignment with your purpose & authentic self IS SCARIER!!While re-listening to this episode before posting it, I realized there was a part of me that needed to hear these words, so I am more than ecstatic to share them with you <3Whether it's the relationship, the job, the friendship, the habit, the major....whatever comes to your mind when you think about how your life would change if you were living in your dream reality. ...if you are unhappy with where you are in life, what you are doing, or where your attention & energy is going, you deserve to initiate change.Hope, faith, & holding onto the idea that everything will work out "one day" can be a lovely, positive headspace to be in; however, we cannot allow that mindset to let us remain trapped in these toxic relationships, careers, or hobbies that are not serving our purpose, our passions, or the life we want to be living.examples:"One day, my boyfriend/girlfriend will finally understand me", "My job will satisfy me one day", "I'll start that project, hobby, or habit one day", "I can change them", "I'll eventually build my dream business", "I'll quit my toxic job when the time is right", etc.So, let's talk about embracing change despite it's fears, & how staying unhappy is even scarier. Let's ponder on overcoming the fear of the unknown, breaking free from toxic relationships, & living a life aligned with your true self. You'll know if this episode is for you. & to those of you, I want to remind you that you are more powerful than you think & are entirely worthy of living a life that you love & that allows you to fully express your most authentic, silly, & fun self :)If this pod resonated, send it to someone who you want to see happy <3I offer Self-Alignment & Mindfulness coaching & private yoga sessions!
