He served as Director for the London Endoscopy Academy (2021-23) and is a member of the British Society of Gastroenterology Council, and a Fellow of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He maintains an active role in basic science, endoscopic and clinical research as well as teaching internationally.
