Wealth planning can be very complex if we want it to be. Many advisors make it very complex to the point it can be very intimidating for us, the healthcare professionals. But it does not have to be. Parth Shah had drilled it down to simple geometries that we all are familiar with: The Square, the Triangle, and the Circle. He is also inviting to be intentional. Please enjoy! If you have any comments or feedback, please email me at HMFHD2020@gmail.com.
You already know my penchant towards real-estate as an asset. It is a good asset to hold. Most Canadians believe so as well. But how healthy is our Canadian market? Where are the opportunities? What types of real-estate investments are available beyond owning a rental unit? This episode with Ray Punn will try to answer these questions. If you have any feedback, please email me at hmfhd2020@gmail.com

Physicians are busy enough at their regular day (and maybe) night job. We do not need another gig? or do we? Many aspire to own real-estate and make passive income from it. It is not easy. Since the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) made itself available to incorporated physicians in Ontario, many experts and podcasters have discussed it in the public realm. I have heard many inaccuracies and my hope is to address them in this episode with the help of my friend and business colleague Mr. JP Laporte who is a pension lawyer. Physicians in Ontario should fully understand these inaccuracies, which themselves come from the complexity of pension plan structures. Physicians should do their due diligence.
