318: Are You Fighting the Season You're In?

August 6, 2026·20 min
Episode Description from the Publisher

In this episode, I'm opening up about a season that has been really challenging for me. As I get closer to publishing my book, I've found myself having to let go of control, trust other people with pieces of the process, and accept a timeline I can't force. If you've ever felt frustrated because life isn't moving at the pace you want or things feel out of your hands, I think you'll relate to this one. I share how this season has left me feeling stretched creatively and emotionally, and the lessons I've been learning about vulnerability, perfectionism, and giving myself grace when I don't show up as my best self. One word that kept coming up in my meditation was acquiesce—to stop fighting what is and begin accepting the season I'm in. I talk about what it looks like to move through a season that feels slow, uncomfortable, and outside your control, and why our first instinct is often to resist it. Because life isn't working against you—it's always trying to teach you something, if you're willing to listen.
