Join Frank & Jan as they take a shallow dive into the turbulent waters of our healthcare system. Specifically, costs and access. It's a complicated issue requiring immediate attention. It's not all griping; there are some suggestions for improvements. Plus, Frank & Jan received some self-administered retail therapy.
Join Frank and Jan as they ramble on about SCOREing, public storage, Formula 1, and more serious topics—Communism, Socialism, and Theocracies. Frank argues that Socialism is just Communism light, while Jan notes there are no pure forms of either in the world today. The same is true of Democracy. They also wonder why Democrats are branded as Godless Communists by this President. Find out what Frank’s listening to and which movie makes Jan’s most-disliked top 10 list.
After episode 4, where Frank & Jan indulged in non-political trivia, they're back to discuss the Iran war and the Memorandum of Understanding. What the hell is it, and did we win? Missing from this episode is "What's Frank Listening to?", an oversight caused by noisy distractions during recording. So that's why the album cover from 1973's "Buckingham Nicks". Go to www.twovoicesonejourney.com to read what Apple Music thinks about this disc. While you're there, sign up for updates on what the interminably bored couple is chattering about.
Join Frank and Jan as they avoid politics, social derision, war, and government in general. They're not giving a f*ck this week—just light topics from Toddlers vs. Dogs to Death with Dignity, without proper segways. Enjoy the Zen and dive into inconsequential topics.Plus, Frank has to go back after recording and correct an egregious artist identity mix-up.
In this latest installment, Jan and Frank embark on what can only be described as a cataloging exercise — a modest attempt to document the more colorful chapters of the Trump presidency, from self-dealing litigation to the aggressive rebranding of America's architectural heritage. We left out the banner-festooned federal edifice, golden statues, the Trump Kennedy Center, and the Arc de Trump, owing to the sheer volume of available material. We should note, in the spirit of full disclosure, that we are somewhat out of practice, and certain details may have softened at the edges during their journey from memory to microphone. Our liberal listeners will no doubt have a supplemental list at the ready; we ran out of time. For our conservative friends: this is, at its heart, personal catharsis — the rhetorical equivalent of shouting into a throw pillow. Most of what we discuss has not, in any meaningful way, altered the texture of daily life. We just needed to vent.
Join Frank and Jan as the palaver ranges from politics to pets. Frank shares his evolving views on keeping small and exotic animals, while Jan expresses her disappointment with some of the policies and promises of the current administration. And E.L.O. is on the platter.
Join Frank & Jan as they catch up on President Trump's recent follies and self-indulgent behavior. Also, the Chinese Century, and we can't afford to go to Disneyland.
Frank & Jan venture into the waters off the Venezuelan coast to see what's up and hear screams of " Get your filthy hands off my oil well..."
