Psalm 11 is an excellent psalm for panicky times. In it, advisors have come to King David and said, “You have to get out of town. There’s going to be a coup.” David, however, knows the worst thing he can do for his people is to flee. So he refuses to panic. And in this psalm, David explains how he’s able to avoid panic: with 1) a reason for the mind and 2) a reason for the heart. This meditation was first published to YouTube on April 8, 2020.
