Soul Fly Boston takes over Cisco Brewers Seaport on Saturday, September 12, bringing together fly fishing, live music, art, food, conservation and outdoor culture for a full day in Boston. Rather than your traditional fly-fishing show, Soul Fly is built around creating a party and community experience that brings anglers and non-anglers together. Griz gives us a look behind the scenes at what went into bringing Soul Fly to his home city of Boston, what they learned from the Charleston event earlier this year, and what people can expect when they show up in the Seaport. Soul Fly Charleston drew around 1,400 people, and the team has emphasized growing these events through deeper experiences rather than simply trying to make them bigger. We also get into everything surrounding the main event. The weekend kicks off Friday, September 11 with the Fish Boston Soul Fly Hootenanny on Boston Harbor, followed that evening by Soul Fly's Party with Purpose at Patagonia Boston. Then Saturday is the main Soul Fly Boston event at Cisco Brewers Seaport.
