We've spent five weeks digging into mom guilt and shame, and I wanted to close this series out differently. Instead of more heavy heart work, I just want to encourage you. It's so easy, especially with social media, to feel like you should be somewhere else, further along, or making a different decision than the one you made. But today I'm reminding you of four things I know are true about you, straight from your creator: you are divinely chosen, you're right where you're supposed to be, you're not doing this alone, and the joy of the Lord is your strength. Wherever your feet are, that's where God wants you. You're on assignment right now. Shame Off You: A Guilt-to-Grace Reset for Moms — 34 pages of prompts, scripture, and encouragement. It's $17 and live right now. Often when we say the words "I feel like I'm not enough," there's usually something deeper going on underneath. Whether it's insecurity, comparison, or more often than not, some kind of shame that's taken root in our hearts. In today's episode, we're diving into a section straight out of my brand-new guide, Shame Off You, walking through the process of digging beneath the surface of "not enough" to find, and name, what's really going on. Because we can't heal what we won't name. We walk through this process and more in depth in my new guide, Shame Off You: A Guilt-to-Grace Reset for Moms — 34 pages of prompts, scripture, and encouragement. It's $17 and live right now. I remember dropping to my knees on the nursery floor, sobbing because I couldn't get my own baby to sleep, and thinking: maybe I'm just not cut out for this. This week we're naming the quiet lie almost every mom carries — that a good mom should just know — and the shame that grows when motherhood turns out to have a learning curve. I get honest about that lowest postpartum moment, why a learning curve is not proof you're failing, and the truth that motherhood is learned and Holy Spirit partnered — He fills the gaps you can't. Plus a simple practice for when the lies creep in: name the lie, trace it to the root, trade it for truth, and tend it, over and over again. This is the exact process I walk you through in my new guide, Shame Off You: A Guilt-to-Grace Reset for Moms — 34 pages of prompts, scripture, and encouragement. It's $17 and live right now. Not all mom guilt is shame, and not all of it is bad. This week we’re breaking down the real difference between guilt, shame, and conviction: guilt says I did something wrong, shame says I am something wrong, and conviction is the Holy Spirit's nudge toward change. We talk about what it looks like to make things right with your kids, why conviction always gives you a way out while shame just locks you in, and I get honest about my own struggle with phone time and doom scrolling and share a simple practice for naming a lie, tracing it, and replacing it with truth.
