"Nothing I accept about myself can be used against me to diminish me - Audre Lorde"The most radical act a person can do is to fully love themselves in a world that tells them not to. Being Black, fat, and a woman, society tried to convince me, in so many ways, to hate myself. Being transparent, it almost succeeded. My healing journey wouldn't be effective unless I learned to love my Fatness. It defines so much of my identity that accepting it led to my own liberation. Aspects since childhood that once brought me shame or anguish are now sources of my protection, spiritual knowing, and resilience. As the Class of 2026 celebrates its accomplishments, I'm inspired to reflect on my own milestones. For today's episode, I proudly proclaim what I love most about being fat.Podcast intro produced by: Leem Lizzy @leemlizzyMusical highlight artists:Jill ScottSocial- @missjillscottGAWD , Durand BernarrSocial-@gawdherself @durandbernarrPlease support SOUL Vibrant Podcast by:1 .Donate to PayPal : https://www.paypal.me/Queenladyac2.
