In honor of Yom HaAtzma'ut 2022/5782, we are playing an episode that we released earlier on. If you know anything about me (Eve) you know that I love Israel very much. I hope to one day live there again. But in the meantime I can dream... I can visit, and I can live vicariously through my friends and family who have merited to live there. Meet my friend Jordana Brown who is is a born and bred New Yorker but made Aliyah on her own in 2014. Back in the States, Jordana was a licensed speech therapist and an active madricha in the kiruv community, but after staffing 12 Birthright trips, Jordana realized that her future was only in Israel. Since making aliyah, Jordana has become an advocate and a resource for others interested in taking the plunge themselves, especially observant young professionals. First as a Jerusalemite and now as a resident of Tel Aviv, Jordana in active in the young Anglo community of Tel Aviv. Jordana truly believes that there is a place for every Jew in Israel and hopes to be a resource for anyone who needs information, inspiration or a final push. For more, follow her on Instagram @jordana_brown, check out her blog at JordanaTakesTelAviv.blogspot.com or listen to her podcast “Yalla Aliyah” on all platforms.
