About this episode: No matter what stage we are in life, we're all still growing. Which of your gifts will you be growing into this coming year? Join me for a conversation with Evonne Marzouk as she shares about her 2019 novel The Prophetess, her personal journey as an author and as a Jewish woman, and her latest projects bringing Jewish spiritual wisdom to inspire teens to be more connected to their Jewish identities, and women of all ages to grow into their gifts. About our guest: Evonne Marzouk is the author of the Jewish spiritual novel The Prophetess, published by Bancroft Press in 2019. She loves speaking to Jewish communities about Jewish spiritual concepts, and empowering Jewish teen girls and women to grow into all their gifts. She grew up in Philadelphia and received her B.A. in writing with a minor in religious studies from the Johns Hopkins University. In 2003, she founded Canfei Nesharim (recently merged with GrowTorah) to learn and share Torah concepts about protecting the environment, and in 2014, co-edited Uplifting People and Planet: Eighteen Essential Jewish Lessons on the Environment.
