Episode Description from the Publisher

Andee and her family collected 1 million books. Yes, 1 million books! Andee and her family loves reading, and they wanted to do something to give back in a way that was meaningful to them. Through spreading the word, they slowly but surely collected books, organized the books they received, and donated them to kids who needed them the most. They were so dedicated to their project that they reached so many end goals! First of all, they initially hoped to collect 10,000 books and then extended their goal to 1,000,000 books, which they reached. They also finished this project a year plus earlier than expected. Tune into to hear Andee's journey with this HUGE donation and the power of giving yourself to others. Andee Wilkov grew up in Riverwoods IL and, with her husband Willie, has been raising her family back there on the North  Shore of Chicago. Andee’s career was in advertising and promotions, but left the corporate life to raise her two children Ally and Ryan. Once “retired” she shifted her focus and passion into helping others. The Wilkov family collected one million children’s books for kids in the Chicagoland area. As a family, they learned  the importance of setting lofty goals and following through on them.
