The Lost Jews of the Inquisition: Laurie Cardoza-Moore on the Bnei Anusim, Bible Prophecy, and the Church's Forgotten History

For five centuries, millions of Jewish families across Spain, Portugal, and Latin America were forced to hide who they were — lighting candles in secret, passing down fragments of their faith in code, terrified of what would happen if anyone found out.Today, an estimated 500 million people around the world may be descended from these hidden Jews, the Bnei Anusim, and most of them have no idea. This episode originally aired on A Voice to the Gentile Church, a production of Build Up Zion (buildupzion.org), where Laurie Cardoza-Moore joins Pastor Roger Diaz and Delores Lowe to share her own discovery of her family's hidden Jewish roots, the brutal history of the Inquisition, and the biblical prophecies in Ezekiel and Obadiah that point to a modern-day ingathering of Israel's scattered tribes. Laurie also talks about her upcoming documentary bringing this history to light, and why the church needs to reckon with its own past.Follow the Proclaiming Justice podcast, share this episode, and support PJTN's work at pjtn.org.Learn more about Build Up Zion at buildupzion.org.0:00 Cold Open: "All My Names Were Jewish"1:02 Meet Laurie Cardoza-Moore and the Bnei Anusim1:45 What Is Bnei Anusim?
