lika PLC (AIM:IKA, OTCQX:ILIKF, FRA:I8A) CEO Graeme Purdy joined Proactive's Stephen Gunnion to discuss commercial progress across the company's Stereax and Goliath solid-state battery programmes. Purdy said Ilika has reached a significant milestone with Stereax, having recognised around £100,000 in revenue from the sale of commercial-grade electrodes to Cirtec for incorporation into the M300 product, due to launch later this year. A second income stream through product royalties is expected once devices reach end customers. "We have actually transitioned into a product revenue generating business," he said. On Goliath, Purdy said 10Ah prototype cells have been shipped to OEM and commercial customers for evaluation. While originally developed for electric vehicles, the prototypes have attracted strong interest from defence and e-bike markets, with Ilika now prioritising commercialisation in those non-EV segments. Key milestones to watch over the next 12 to 18 months include deeper Cirtec collaboration, Stereax integration into medical device platforms, additional Goliath commercial agreements, early non-EV revenues and progress towards Ilika's first licensing agreement.
