It was an impressive demonstration of a car that likely will come with some heavy caveats and restrictions if it ever goes into production. The event was less than 30 minutes and felt more like a stunt show than a product reveal.Indeed, there was no mention of price, trim levels, release date, or other such mundane details. Musk promised the hypercar would go into production in 2028, but after nearly nine years who’s counting. The people were here to see a car fly, and that’s what Tesla gave them.知识点：next-generation adj. /ˌnekst ˈdʒenəreɪʃn/· 英⽂释义：belonging to a new and more advanced stage of technological development· 中⽂释义：下⼀代的，新⼀代的· ⽂中意：指特斯拉在原有Roadster基础上开发的新⼀代⾼性能电动跑⻋，强调技术和性能上的升级。· 例句⼀：The company is developing next-generation batteries for electric vehicles. · 例句⼆：Next-generation technology could transform the way people travel.
