Lane Thiessen is a rawhide braider and cowboy from Gem, Alberta. Growing up in rural Alberta as the son of well known cowboy poet, Bryn Thiessen, Lane was exposed to the western lifestyle and quality cowboy gear from an early age. Lane learned to braid his first hackamore out of necessity and thanks to mentors such as Bill Black, he now runs LT Braiding and has become an accomplished braider in his own right. Lane joins Joe to discuss all things hackamores including composition, styles, training applications and care. Tune in for a fun conversation about what it means to be an aspiring hackamore man.#hackamore #rawhide #rawhidebraiding
