The Aguadilla Coast Guard Footage – UFO Into the Sea

In April 2013, a U.S. Customs and Border Protection aircraft recorded an unidentified object near Rafael Hernández Airport in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. Using a thermal camera, the crew tracked the target for several minutes as it appeared to move across the airport area and toward the coast. The most dramatic interpretation of the footage suggests that the object entered the ocean without producing a visible splash, continued moving near or beneath the surface, then emerged and appeared to divide into two separate objects. This led some researchers to describe it as a possible transmedium craft capable of traveling through both air and water. However, the video lacked reliable distance and altitude information, making the object's true size and speed difficult to calculate. A later official analysis concluded that the footage most likely showed two slow-moving airborne objects, possibly lanterns, whose apparent speed and water entry were created by parallax, camera movement, and changing infrared contrast. The Aguadilla case remains controversial because the footage is authentic government sensor imagery, yet its interpretation is unresolved. It may show an extraordinary craft entering the sea, or an ordinary pair of objects transformed by perspective into something far more mysterious.
