The "GoFast" Video – Racing Above the Ocean (2015)

In 2015, a U.S. Navy F/A-18 recorded the infrared video later known as GOFAST, showing a small unidentified object apparently racing above the Atlantic Ocean. The pilots reacted with excitement as their targeting system locked onto it, helping the footage become one of the most famous modern UAP recordings. Later analysis, however, showed that the object's apparent speed may have been exaggerated by parallax, viewing geometry, and the rapid movement of the observing aircraft. The target may have been much higher above the ocean and moving far more slowly than it first appeared. Possibilities include a balloon, drone, conventional aircraft, or another unidentified object. The Pentagon confirmed the footage was authentic, but authenticity does not prove extraordinary technology.
