When we talk about balance and fall prevention as we age, the whole conversation is usually about avoiding falls — better balance, more stability, being careful. And that matters. But my perspective on fall prevention is the same as injury prevention. A better lens that changes the goal and the way we work towards is moving from prevention to preparation. Because at some point, everybody's body travels outside its base of support — and whether that turns into a scare or an injury depends on the capacity you have to build before you need it. In this episode I'm elaborating on why fall prevention alone isn't enough, why now is exactly the time to start (not decades from now), and what it actually looks like to prepare your body to handle falls better. 1:1 Consult: https://jenhosler.com/monthly-coaching/ Movement School Waitlist: https://jenhosler.com/movement-school/
