Episode 857: The BSB Backlog

With the summer break over, Danny and Karl are back and it’s been a busy few weeks with Brands Hatch, Oulton Park and Thruxton all delivering plenty of action. Brands Hatch saw Kyle Ryde dominate the weekend with two wins, while Scott Redding took the final race. Max Cook was incredibly consistent, taking three podiums as the championship battle at the front continued to tighten. Oulton Park saw Bradley Ray take the opening race before Ryde bounced back with two wins on Sunday. Redding and Ray also featured strongly, but Ryde left Cheshire having extended his championship lead to 30 points. Then came Thruxton and another cracking weekend. Ryde took victory in race one before Ryan Vickers stole the show on Sunday, winning both races for his first victories of the season. Redding had a frustrating weekend, including a crash in race three, while Ryde's consistency saw him extend his championship advantage.
