Episode 862: MotoGP Misano – The Tide Turns

Jim and Rich are back to discuss MotoGP Round 14 from the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli in San Marino. After a round of the week’s news its straight into Moto3 and yet another masterclass from Max Quilles. The Moto2 race was one that got away, with the front row going down at turn 1, allowing Manuel Gonzalez an easier than expected and much needed win to steady his nerves after a shaky few rounds. In MotoGP Marc Marquez took a maximum 37 points for the second round running to level up the top of the points table. This was the race where the Aprilia’s were expected to shine and present a challenge to Ducati. As it was, Ogura was absent through injury, Fernandez was slightly off colour, Martin had arm pump and Bezzecchi crashed out on lap 1 of the Sunday race. Next up it’s the Qatar Airways Grand Prix ff Austria at the Red Bull Ring.
