Episode 855: Aprilia Rules

We're back!  Jim and Rich get together after a long summer break to talk about the British Grand Prix from Silverstone.  The Moto3 race was a wild affair as championship leader Max Quiles broke his collar bone in qualifying. The race on Sunday was a barn burner classic Moto3 fair that was won by Almansa after Uriate crashed on the last lap.   Moto2 was the best race of the weekend.  It was full of heartbreak and feel good story lines.  This awesome action packed race was won by Salac after Gonzalez thought he had won but miscounted the last lap.  As Gonzalez let off to celebrate be was hit by Holgado in the exhaust.  Gonzalez limped home in 14th place.   The MotoGP races were not very exciting.  The Ducatis' were struggling with rear grip all weekend while the Aprilias were on rails.  Martin won the Sprint on Saturday and on Sunday Fernandez won by a country mile.  This weekend shook up the points as Martin leads by 31.  Bezzecchi is second while Ogura is third after crashing out on Sunday.  Marc Marquez is fourth and Digi is fifth only 41 points behind Martin.   Here is a link to the Adelaide protest song: https://youtu.be/ulVgCQhxzmw?si=VWyIoirAEN4Vygvk Here is a link to the AMA Superbike crash at Charlotte Motor Speedway: Superbikeplanet 3.54K subscribers Subscribe                         https://youtu.be/gsG83B-_j2Y?si=dwWql0Zx96Hek70s
