BONUS: Is Drake Toll CRAZY for This Brand-New Big 12 Take...

Navigating the grueling landscape of the Big 12 brings starkly different storylines for BYU, Baylor, and Texas Tech as the conference meat grinder heats up.BYU is currently walking a tightrope with significant injury concerns. Kalani Sitake’s squad has had to weather major absences—most notably star workhorse running back LJ Martin dealing with an ankle issue and linebacker Isaiah Glasker listed as doubtful. Coupled with lingering bumps and bruises across the trenches and key skill positions, the Cougars’ depth is being tested to its absolute limit. Yet, true to their hard-nosed identity, they continue to rely on developmental toughness and sheer grit rather than making excuses.Down in Waco, Baylor is quietly putting together an impressive stretch. Dave Aranda’s group is clicking with a balanced, physical attack, getting stellar execution from their quarterback room and a suffocating defense that is clamping down on opponents and turning heads across the conference.Meanwhile, Texas Tech has looked a bit more "meh" than their 5-0 record might initially suggest. While the Red Raiders are finding ways to stack wins—relying heavily on a opportunistic defense and defensive takeaways—their offensive rhythm has sputtered in stretches, lacking the explosive consistency expected from an elite tier-one contender. If they want to survive the true gauntlet of the conference schedule, they will need to clean up the execution and find more consistent punch on offense.Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!KALSHIFor a limited time, Download Kalshi and use code Locked On to get $25 when you trade $25. Kalshi.
