David L. Gillespie, Lt Col, USAF (Ret), has spent more than 35 years leading in military intelligence, public policy, executive program development, and national service. His career included deployments and service connected to six major operational conflicts and campaigns, including Desert Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Afghanistan. Now, David is channeling a very different kind of mission into storytelling. He is the award-winning author of Floo Flocky Doo to the Rescue, a rhyming children’s picture book inspired by the imagination of his youngest daughter and built around adventure, color, kindness, and unforgettable characters.
