Episode Description from the Publisher

This week on Hits Different: We didn't know that Carlos Mendoza was going to be fired when we recorded!!! So we don't talk about that. Instead, Ellen, Dave, and Kait discuss the first time that every member of the Mets infield committed at least one error in the same game since 1962. A wonderful historical achievement. The Mets also gave up more than 50 runs in a week, allowed Bryce Harper to hit for the cycle, watched Kyle Schwarber hit 3 bombs in an hour, and raised Dansby Swanson's OPS by 60 points in four days. They traded David Peterson to the Cubs. He's surely happy to go. Anyway, happy Pride!!! Let's go Mets... Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
