In this short discussion I share my thoughts on the long running issue of home buyers putting a house, flat, condo or apartment above their physical health and fitness. Ordinarily the often coined term is 'House Rich, Cash Poor' however, in this instance, as a professional personal trainer, I've gone for the above title. It's not un unusual for young couples to essentially sign up to a 25-30 year mortgage (AKA debt) in the excitement of owning their first home / stepping onto the property ladder. Whilst this part of our economy is always up and down, the same can be said of our health and fitness. The most important room in our home is the kitchen and the bedroom, for quality nutrition and sleep respectively. We should always consider our own health, when decorating and furnishing our homes, as opposed to how fancy, flamboyant and shiny the wallpaper and bathroom taps are.
