Then the North Carolina news: Steve Belichick's resignation lands a couple of weeks after the program's general manager left, and UNC's own statement says the conduct at issue showed "a disregard for Carolina's values and standards of conduct" while calling it isolated rather than systemic. Coach's take is that the entire reason Bill Belichick took the job was to build a runway for his son — and with that gone, he wonders out loud how much longer Bill stays.
