Wisdom Daily Meditation brings us to Proverbs 21 and James 1, where Scripture draws our attention to the heart, wise decision-making, perseverance, and the difference between hearing God’s Word and living it out.Proverbs reminds us that although we may make our own plans, the Lord directs the heart and weighs our motives. James speaks into the same posture, encouraging steadfastness through trials, dependence on God for wisdom, and a faith that becomes visible through obedience rather than remaining only in what we hear.Together, these chapters invite us to examine what is influencing our decisions and responses. There may be much we can plan, build, lead, and accomplish, while still needing to remain attentive to God’s direction.
