“Why Do Vietnamese Burn Paper Money?” In this episode, we discuss a common aspect of many Vietnamese people's lives, that is burning joss paper money. Vietnamese believe that their ancestors in the afterlife continue to live and need daily items such as clothing, money and personal items, to send these items, paper representations are burnt during offering ceremonies.
