I believe its fair to say that the case on everyone's minds today is Lindsey Clancey. Its everywhere. How do we as a society look at this case, evaluate this tragedy and come to an agreement of how she should be punished (or not)? For me who spent far too long examining Chris Watts, what how why.....its hard to not draw at least SOME comparisons, even though Watts never gave birth, experienced post partum or diagnosed as mentally ill but the outcome is still the same. And yet one is a monster and the other a victim.
Its been 8 years since a seemingly loving handsome doting father, the kind of person who appeared as kind, gentle, caring, loving and nurturing did the unthinkable. After 8 years since this terrible tragedy and countless articles, books, documentaries, videos....we still dont have the answer to the key question that haunted everyone who followed this case. Why??? As everyone knows he had a mistress who he fell hard for and fast. Could this and this alone Inspire someone to completely destroy all that came before??? The family through all outward appearances via thousands of photos and videos he seemed to adore. He seemed to have zero long term plan. So what was it all for??? 8 years later we are no wiser. We hear more and more similar stories. Is there any lesson or moral that can be derived? Perhaps not. Maybe all that can be said is that sometimes bad things happen to good people. No rhyme or reason. In this tale everyone lost. RiP Shannan, Bella, Cece and Nico.

Just a quickie about the Brian Khobeger bombshell attempt to withdraw his guilty plea. Will Brian get another Bite of the apple? Will the true crime community finally get the trial they waited over 3 years for to finally put to rest key questions that have poured hot molten lava over the debate between Probergers vs Guilters??? Guess we will see
What do Chris Watts, Brian Khoberger and Taylor Parker have in common? Other than being convicted murderers?
On November 13, 2022, four University of Idaho students—Ethan Chapin, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Kaylee Goncalves—were killed in their off-campus home in Moscow, Idaho, a small college town in the Palouse region not known for this kind of violence. After nearly three years of pretrial proceedings, Bryan Kohberger, a criminal justice graduate student, pled guilty, closing the case without a trial. This episode looks at the timeline of the investigation, what the plea agreement did and didn't address, and why some observers feel the absence of a trial left key questions unresolved. We aim to separate documented fact from online speculation, and to keep the focus on accountability and the victims, rather than sensationalizing the person responsible. This is a sensitive case involving real victims and their families. We approach it with care and encourage listeners to do the same.
A guilty plea ended the case against Bryan Kohberger. It didn't end the questions surrounding the murders of four University of Idaho students. We look at what we know — and what we still don't. The truth is often stranger than fiction. And this seems to be true in this case of Mackenzie Shirilla, the young woman who crashed her car into a brick wall at nearly 100mph. This feels like the kind of case MADE for Netflix, made for content creators to discuss, dissect, parody, and analyze with a multitude of interpretations. I cannot say with certainty what happened that fateful morning. There were 3 people in that car. Only 1 survived and she claims she does not remember. In a case like this, do we ever actually get to the truth, the whole truth and nothing but??? OR is it simply the eye of the beholder?
