One girl’s rescue became the beginning of something much bigger.In this episode, Deb Baliko and Rebecca Pratt share the powerful story of Rosie, a young girl in a rural West African village who was malnourished, fearful, caring for her infant sister, and enduring abuse at home. Her older sister had already been trafficked to a neighboring country.After Rebecca felt prompted to return to Rosie’s village, Orphan Relief and Rescue stepped in to help provide her with safety, education, regular meals, and ongoing support. But what happened next was unexpected.During the visit, Rebecca chose to approach the family and community with kindness rather than confrontation. That decision opened the door to a remarkable conversation with a local man involved in trafficking.
