Ladies who ROCK!

This week, Randy Bachman turns the spotlight on women who rock! Wanda Jackson is known as the “Queen Of Rockabilly” and shared the stage with many of the top acts in the fifties.  In 2011 she released an album with Jack White of the White Stripes.  It included the song “Shakin’ All Over” which was a breakout hit for Randy and the Guess Who. This week the Vinyl Tap trip through time looks at some of the other women who rocked and many who still do. The playlist includes Heart, Joan Jett, Alanis Morissette, Stevie Nicks, Pink, Pat Benatar, Janis Joplin and many others.
