Divorce changes more than your relationship status. It can shake your faith, your family, your friendships, your identity, and your sense of what comes next. UnYoked is here to help. Hosted by Todd Turner, the UnYoked Podcast offers honest, Christ-centered conversations for Christians navigating divorce, recovering from its aftermath, and rebuilding a life of faith, purpose, and hope. We talk about the things Christians facing divorce are actually dealing with: Should I get a divorce? How do I survive the first few months? What happens when church friends disappear? How do I help my kids through this? How do I deal with loneliness? When am I ready to date again? And who am I now that the life I expected looks completely different? The podcast follows three seasons of the journey: Season 1: UnYoking Help for Christians facing separation and divorce, including difficult decisions, family changes, emotional pain, and the spiritual questions that come when a marriage is ending. Season 2: UnYoked Divorce Recovery Honest conversations about grief, forgiveness, loneliness, identity, church hurt, co-parenting, dating, healing, and rebuilding after divorce. Season 3: Yoked to Christ Life after divorce is about more than recovering from divorce. It's about learning to live fully again. These conversations focus on following Jesus, finding purpose, rebuilding community, developing healthy relationships, and living on mission in this new season of life. UnYoked doesn't pretend divorce is easy, and we don't offer religious clichés for complicated problems. We believe God's design for marriage matters, and so does His grace for people whose marriages have ended. Your marriage may have ended. Your story hasn't. UnYoked Ministries is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit helping Christians navigate divorce, heal from its aftermath, and rebuild a Christ-centered life with hope and purpose.

How can you be still with God when silence feels uncomfortable? In a world filled with phones, social media, television, news, work, relationships, and constant demands, quiet rarely happens accidentally. The moment life becomes still, many of us instinctively reach for something to fill the silence. But what might we be using all that noise to avoid? In this episode of Yoked to Christ, Todd Turner explores how Christians can develop a meaningful quiet time with God, overcome digital distract...
Most people don’t think they’re in a toxic relationship… until it’s too late. In this episode, Todd sits down with Dr. Brooke Jones to unpack what really defines a toxic or abusive relationship—and why even smart, self-aware people end up stuck in them. “Sex as currency” might grab your attention… but that’s not really where this conversation stays. In this episode, Todd Turner sits down with Dr. Brooke Jones of Stronger Women and quickly moves beyond surface-level dating talk into something deeper—trauma, abuse, identity, and the patterns that quietly shape relationships. What starts as a conversation about sex in modern dating turns into a powerful look at how people—especially those coming out of abuse or broken homes—learn to use what th...
In a previous episode, I spoke honestly about how the church can fail people after divorce. And I stand by much of that. But I also need to correct something. Pain is a good diagnostic tool, but it’s a terrible navigator. In this episode, I share a personal story about how God challenged my assumptions, removed my excuses, and led me back into a healthy church community. This isn’t a walk-back. It’s a course correction. If you’ve been hurt by the church… if you’ve stepped away… or if you’ve c...
Most of us think anger just happens to us. But Jesus says anger starts in the heart. In this honest episode of UnYoked Living, Todd Turner unpacks where anger really comes from — our worldview, our idols, our expectations — and how it exposes what we value most. We’ll explore: ✅ What makes you angry vs. what makes God angry ✅ Why men pretend instead of healing ✅ The false script of “Christian manhood” ✅ How to process anger without sinning ✅ The path from cultural manhood to authent...
We live in a culture that measures God’s blessing by comfort—bigger paychecks, promotions, vacations, health, and smooth sailing. But what if that’s not how God keeps score? What if our obsession with success is blinding us to true faith? In this episode of the UnYoked Podcast, Todd Turner pulls from the book of Habakkuk to expose how American Christianity has drifted into shallow, cultural faith—and why men recovering from divorce are at a crossroads. Too often, we’ve become fans of Jesus ra...
What does the ancient church in Sardis have to do with divorced Christian men in America today? A lot more than you might think. In Revelation 3, Jesus warned Sardis that they had “a reputation of being alive, but were dead.” They looked good on the outside, but inside they were complacent, careless, and spiritually asleep. In this raw and direct Season 4 opener, Todd Turner speaks to divorced Christian men about the same danger we face today—living off reputation instead of reality. Being si...
Seven years after my divorce, I thought I was doing everything right. I rebuilt my career. I got healthy. I dated. I “put in the work.” I thought I was healed. But God showed me I had been building my new life on sand. In this episode, I’m speaking directly to divorced Christian men—men who are still carrying invisible wounds, hiding behind success, and chasing money, relationships, and validation instead of Christ. We’ll talk about: The “arrow in the back of the head” every wounded man carri...
