In 1989 Bob Lazar blew the whistle on Area 51 & the U.S. government's alleged work on extraterrestrial UFOs/UAPs. And since then, the legitimacy of his claims has been debated for decades now. But even if his story is still treated as a conspiracy theory, there is no doubt that it is a massive part of modern ufology.
