Adam is joined by Jon and Mark to discuss the latest speculation linking Bruno with a move to Arsenal. The lads debate Bruno's importance to NUFC's project, whether the club can afford to keep him - or afford to sell him - and what losing their captain would mean on the pitch? Luke Edwards kindly joins Si and Ordy from TF this week to get into what has happened so far this summer and whether it is time to panic or not and to answer some of the big questions hanging around the club so far this summer: Panic or Patience? Is the summer going to plan and/or should we be worried or not? What is the club aiming for next season, what is expected of the manager and does it align with expectations of the club as a whole? And what of the ownership - PIF and Hopkinson continue to talk of big ambitions but the lack of progress on infrastructure and what we are seeing suggest its all talk. A big thank you to Luke for talking to us fresh off the back of him publicly calling out a certain Spanish transfer news journalist... Another week of transfer woes so we took the opportunity to revisit the frustrating lack of progress on the stadium situation. Si was again joined by Michael Martin and Stephen Hodgson who is True Faith's resident Chartered Building and Project Manager to get into it. We had a similar podcast with Stephen and Mick in June 2024 and we caught up to ask: What is taking so long and what if anything has changed in the last 2 years? Why is this so difficult and what are the limiting factors preventing real life progress? And How and when will the decision actually be made to take this forward - what are PIF actually waiting for and why does it look like they are looking for external funding? A great, if somewhat frustrating, discussion about a situation that is dragging on so long that its adding to the worries about the long term project at NUFC. Great input again from Stephen and Mick to remind us its not that simple but we'd be lying to say this podcast doesn't end up raising more questions! Si was the host this week joined by True Faith OG Michael Martin and Adam P to get into what is going on with Newcastle's recruitment as yet another key target is swooped away at the last second by a big 6 club. Is it too early to panic as it's only June and there's a World Cup going on or should we be worried about another summer with all the same things happening? Steve Nickson is departing, yet another similarity with the previous summer with key recruitment personnel departing? Are we shopping in the wrong market or are these the right targets and the failings are with the recruitment team? Why are big clubs constantly stealing our targets? And loads more about the current situation where it is imperative that the club gets this summer right. Alex hosts Charlotte, Ben Spratt and Adam Pringle to talk through how Newcastle United realistically reach their stated goal of being competitive for the biggest honours in the game by 2030. They discuss: What David Hopkinson really meant with the ideaa of 2030 - is it simply just being a regular fixture in the Champions League? Transfers and transfer strategy - how can we get better selling our best players and are there some players you just can't sell? What kind of team should be being built to compete with the elite clubs and how should it play Unlikely that NUFC can match the revenue of the other clubs we're trying to catch, so what can we do to bridge the gap?
