Lindsay Clancy's trial for the 2023 killings of her three children ended in a mistrial, but the case has been far from quiet since. In this episode of our mini series, Gemma unpacks everything that has happened since the hung jury. Jurors have spoken out about the one holdout who stopped them reaching a verdict of not guilty by reason of insanity. Reports have since emerged about that juror's past, and he has now given his own side of the story. Patrick Clancy has also spoken publicly. Back in court this week, Lindsay's defence made a dramatic shift. At trial, her lawyer argued she wasn't criminally responsible because of mental illness.
