They are reminders of excellence, resilience, pride, and the responsibility that comes with standing on the shoulders of giants.The strength was already built. The sacrifices were already made. The road was already pushed open.Now the responsibility is to do something with it.And on a lighter note, Negro League baseball also proves two things: some people carry aura like it’s a second form of ID, and we absolutely need to bring real nicknames back.
