Journey of a Thousand Miles: Ruthie Foster

On this week’s edition of Time Signatures with Jim Ervin, Erv welcomes back 2025 Grammy winner, Ruthie Foster. This time around, she and Erv discuss her spring-time trip to Australia, but the biggest point of discussion is her accidental injury suffered late last fall as she ran to an airport gate to board for a flight. That injury slowed her down considerably, resulting in surgery in December of last year, but prior to that surgery, Ruthie returned to Nashville for a writing and recording session with Mileage collaborators, Rebecca Lovell (Larkin Poe) and producer Tyler Bryant. She was also joined by Megan Lovell (Rebecca’s sister and Larkin Poe bandmate) and her husband, Mike Seal. “Just Say Yes” releases August 28th!
